In April 1994, Rwanda fell victim to a a genocide that targeted the extermination of all Tutsi and Hutu opponents. In this darkness, some stars refused to die.
Named « Righteous » or some of them remaining anonymous, men and women of all origins and all walks of life, Rwandans and foreigners, saved people targeted by the extermination. Some of them even paid with their lives.
Rwabaho pays tribute to them, so that their courage can be known worldwide and used as an example for future generations. Let their names be engraved forever in humanity’s history.
