RwaBaho (English)

RwaBaho – information platform on the situation of human rights in Rwanda

The RwaBaho platform considers that the extermination of the Tutsi living in Rwanda in 1994 requires the term genocide. It recognizes that the Hutu who tried to oppose this genocide or protect the Tutsi population were also exterminated. It focuses particularly on all victims of this mass killing.

On an historical level, RwaBaho recognises the killings targeting the Hutu during and after the civil war: between 1990 and 1994 in Rwanda and between 1996 and 1997 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

In this context, RwaBaho supports all actions taken by the legal system targeting the perpetrators, backers and accomplices of this mass violence. On the contrary, it opposes any negationist or revisionist movement towards these different events.

Finally, the RwaBaho platform relies on a rigorous ethics charter displayed in the section “RwaBaho”.
