Résumé du thème
Classical liberal constitutional law is principally concerned with the internal constitution and organization of polities. Recent scholarship, however, increasingly presents constitutions as having not only inward-facing- but also outward-facing dimensions. This presentation looks at why thinking through the relationship between these two faces of constitutional ordering is both important and difficult. It does so through a discussion of examples of different forms of movement – of individuals and corporations - across constitutional boundaries.
