Fanny Meunier has been elected as the new Director of the Centre for English Corpus Linguistics. Fanny was the first researcher hired by the centre and has been an active and highly valued member ever since. Together with the other members of the CECL team she will ensure that the CECL’s core research projects are pursued and new research strands explored. We wish her every success in her new role!
After founding the CECL and acting as its Director for over 25 years, Sylviane Granger, now Emerita Professor, plans to pursue her research activities with unabated ardour and continue to be actively involved in the centre.
We warmly thank Sylviane for her guidance and support over the last 25 years and are all eager to pursue our collective ‘learner corpus’ efforts!
