The Mathematical Engineering department (INMA) gathers about 50 people and is part of the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Electronics and Applied Mathematics (ICTEAM).
This department is dedicated to promoting research in the field of mathematical engineering and namely numerical analysis, dynamical systems and automatic control, large networks and big data analysis, rational mechanics, operations research and optimization.
Most of its members are involved in the engineering degrees in applied mathematics organized by the Louvain School of Engineering (Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain).
