Innovative solutions improving forage cropping systems sustainability to face global warming and market volatility (ForDrought)
The aim of this project is to develop new strategies improving the autonomy of cropping systems. Through several field trials, we identify innovative forage species that are tolerant to late spring water deficits. Parallel to yield assessment, we measure different parameters, from the soil to the leaf, in order to determine the underlying physiological mechanisms of drought tolerance.
