UCL authorities are active in sharing best practices with other universities to improve integration schemes:
- The Pro-Rector for International Affairs is in charge of the integration of refugee students and participates in a refugee integration working group in the Coimbra Group interuniversity network.
- UCL has participated/will participate in several public/academic debates (for example, an ARES Refugee Integration Day round-table on refugee integration, and a European Association for International Education round-table on three European initiatives by, respectively, the University of Geneva, the University of Bologna and UCL).
- In 2017, UCL joined the organisation Scholars at Risk, which offers help and support to academics and researchers who are in danger in their country.
