Summary
The project aims at developing an optical coherence tomography setup for two industrial applications. An all-fiber configuration is preferred for its usability. The optical source will benefit from the emergence of the new photonic crystal fibers that generate ultra-broad supercontinuum radiation. The first application is the detection of defects in flat glass. The second one is the development of the new anti-counterfeting method that is based on the randomness of the spatial profile of marks engraved by lasers.
