Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences Ghent University
You can now submit your proposals for contributions at the 2018 BAPS meeting that will take place in Ghent on May 18th!
The new and final deadline for submissions is April 1st 2018
As always, the main aims of the meeting are twofold
- To create a platform where psychological scientists from Belgium and neighboring countries can meet, interact, and get acquainted with the latest developments in psychological science.
- To offer junior researchers (PhD students, postdocs) an accessible opportunity to present their work to an audience of peers and experts. We therefore call upon senior colleagues to strongly encourage their PhD students and postdocs to submit an abstract.
We will have a very strong program this year that will appeal to a wide range of psychological scientists and practitioners. In addition to seven invited symposia on a range of topics such as computational modelling, scientific integrity, emotion regulation, incentive valence, chronic illness, intergroup contact, and sexual prejudice, we have a keynote presentation and two symposia on the very timely topic of the psychological science of primary mental health care. The abstract of the keynote talk and the abstracts of most invited symposia can already be found online at https://www.baps.be/highlights
You can submit your proposal for a poster, talk, or symposium at https://www.baps.be/call-for-abstracts
Posters: Two 50 min slots will be available for poster presentations. Posters can contain original data but also posters on conceptual, methodological or theoretical topics are welcome.
Oral presentations: Talks are 16 minutes long (questions included). Note that the number of slots available for oral presentations is limited.
