Halfway through the first quarter, classes are suspended for the Transition for Success Week, or as it’s known by its French-language acronym, SMART Week (Semaine multisite pour l’aide à la réussite et à la transition).
The first year of the bachelor’s programme is the time to take several consecutive days to organise a series of activities and deploy educational tools designed to help students succeed, such as:
- formative tests that mimic an exam session;
- completing a personal project;
- time management workshops;
- improving or reviewing subject matter;
- formative visits;
