Research Team

Iabelle_Roskam
The H2M program is conducted by Professor Isabelle Roskam. She is professor of developmental psychology at the Department of Psychological Sciences of the Catholic University of Louvain. Her research work at the Psychological Sciences Research Institute focuses on child development and parenting. In addition to her work on externalizing child behavior, she is also working on the transition to parenting and parental burnout. She consulted for 10 years at the neuropediatric rehabilitation center of the Saint Luc University Clinics in Brussels and she currently supervises the Psychological Consultations in Parenthood in Louvain-la-Neuve.

Marie-Cécile Nassogne
Marie-Cécile Nassogne
collaborated to the H2M research program between 2004 and 2010, providing medical care for children. She is a neuropediatrician at the Saint Luc University Clinics in Brussels, head of the department of neuropediatrics and professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Louvain.
 

Dominique Charlier
Dominique Charlier
collaborated to the H2M research program between 2004 and 2010, providing medical follow-up for children. She is a child psychiatrist at the Saint Luc University Clinics in Brussels, head of the Juvenile Psychiatry Department, the Kapp, and professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Louvain.
 

Philippe Kinoo
Philippe Kinoo
collaborated to the H2M research program between 2004 and 2010, providing medical follow-up for children. He is a child psychiatrist at the Saint Luc University Clinics in Brussels, head of the infantile-juvenile psychiatry department, the Kapp.
 

Marie-Pascale Noël
Marie-Pascale Noël
collaborated to the H2M research program between 2004 and 2016, in particular on the executive functioning and inhibition topics. She is professor of psychology at the department of Psychological Sciences of the Catholic University of Louvain and a research fellow at the Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique. Her work is part of the field of child neuropsychology with two main lines of research: numerical development and dyscalculia, and the development of executive functions, their evaluation and support. She co-directs the Psychological Consultations in Child Neuropsychology and Speech Therapy in Louvain-la-Neuve.
 

Marie-Anne Schelstraete
Marie-Anne Schelstraete
collaborated to the H2M research program between 2004 and 2016, in particular on the topic of child language development and parent-child communication. She is psychologist and speech therapist and also professor at the Faculty of Psychological Sciences of the Catholic University of Louvain, where she is involved in the clinical training of students in speech therapy. Her research focuses on disorders in the development of oral language and communication following various developmental disorders and on the effectiveness of the treatments proposed in the presence of such disorders. She co-directs the Psychological Consultations in Child Neuropsychology and Speech Therapy in Louvain-la-Neuve.
 

Nathalie Nader-Grosbois
Nathalie Nader-Grosbois has collaborated in the H2M research program between 2012 and 2016, in particular on the topic of social cognition. She is professor at the Catholic University of Louvain in the Faculty of Psychological Sciences and leads the Baron Frère Chair in Orthopedagogy. She conducts research on early development, self-regulation and emotional and social skills in children with developmental disabilities. Her work is also devoted to the adaptation of assessment and intervention methods that can be used for atypically-developing children.
