On June 8th 2015, the Academic Chair devoted to eco-efficient processes for sustainable chemical and biochemical engineering was officially inaugurated, in the presence of Professor Patricia Luis Alconero.
Prof. Patricia Luis Alconero (Spain), holder of the Chair since September 2013, presented her work in the presence of Prof. Vincent Blondel, Rector of the UCL, Mr Jean Stéphenne, President of the Fondation Louvain, Prof. Michel Verleysen, Dean of the Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain (EPL), Prof. Grégoire Winckelmans, President of the Institute of Mechanics, Materials and Civil Engineering (IMMC) and Mr Jean-Pierre Brunelle, Executive Vice-President Process Innovation, Research & Innovation at Solvay.
