The institute of statistics offers a "University certificate" in statistics which is designed in particular for persons already active in a profession who want an additional training in statistics without the necessity to invest in a full program. The certificate proposes 6 directions of 15 to 30 credits each depending on the interest and the knowledge level of the participants. It covers various domains such as data mining, biostatistics, etc. Classes taken in a certificate can be credited in a subsequent masters program.
