Course Title and Content
Introduction into high-dimensional statistics : Theory and Practice
In the lectures, we discuss the theory of regularized methods in high-dimensional statistics. Besides core material about prediction, estimation, and feature selection, we will learn about graphical modeling, tuning parameter calibration, inference, or other specialize concepts—depending on the audience. In small projects, the participants will learn the usage of regularized methods on data. Due to the condensed form of the course, attendance and active participation is indispensable for a successful mastering of the material.
