The living world is full of mysteries. As researchers, we aspire to solve them and thus advance move forward the frontiers of knowledge. To explain life, whatever the organism – animal, plant, or microorganism – we need to understand what happens at the molecular and cellular levels.
Institute of Condensed Matter and Nanosciences
The institute’s focus is condensed matter, from molecules to materials. Research pertains to the synthesis, development, manipulation, modelling and application of (bio)molecules and solid materials.
