Committed to create a more balanced planet, to put the ‘bio’ at the heart of engineering, to developing new visions of food, energy and health – bioengineers are crucial actors in a rapidly changing world. They strive to contribute to cogent, incisive projects that spur innovation and scientific exploration in all bioengineering fields and on all scales, from inner space to outer space, from the most basic molecule to the most advanced satellite.[LG1]
