  • Food4Sustainability  -  coordinateurs O. De Schutter and Tom Dedeurwaerdere  - financé par BELSPO  (programme BRAIN - Belgian Research Action through Interdisciplinary Networks) (2013-2017)

Food4Sustainability analyses the governance of initiatives involved in the transition to a sustainable agro-food system as well as the motivations of the actors. The project is a collaboration between 3 Belgian universities (UCLouvain, KU Leuven and ULB) - website of the project.

The research undertaken in this project seeks to advance the current research in theory of governance and more specifically governance of collective action and to draw the institutional implications of the resulting understanding of the requirements of a reflexive theory of democratic governance. This research is building upon the work that was developed in the IAP V/23 and in the European FP 6 Integrated Project - REFGOV.
