Les brochures thématiques forment une collection de publications éditées à l’initiative de l’UCL et de ses partenaires de l’ex-Académie Louvain, les Universités de Namur et de Saint-Louis Bruxelles.
L’objectif des brochures thématiques ? Répertorier et rassembler autour d’une thématique centrale, les compétences de recherche valorisables, c’est-à-dire le know-how et les technologies de pointe développées au sein des laboratoires de recherche de ces universités, susceptibles de faire l’objet d’un développement commercial, d’une application non marchande ou d’une avancée en sciences humaines.
Ces brochures thématiques mettent l'accent sur la nature interdisciplinaire des recherches et des équipes de l’UCL et des institutions partenaires que sont l’Université de Namur et l’Université Saint-Louis-Bruxelles. Leur vocation est de promouvoir le potentiel de recherche académique au-delà des frontières belges et de susciter les partenariats avec les entreprises, les institutions publiques ainsi que tous les acteurs économiques concernés par la thématique.
