On November 29, 2017 at 3:30 p.m., Andrew Lo (MIT) will be giving a talk on based on his new bookAdaptive Markets: Financial Evolution at the Speed of Though”. The book is considered by the Financial Times as “A remarkable new paradigm puts human instinct at the heart of market behaviour”. To describe Prof. Lo career and influential work in the field of finance we cite the Times, who listed him among the most influential people in the world in 2012 (together people such as Barak Obama, Hilary Clinton): “If Adam Smith had a mind meld with Charles Darwin, Andrew Lo might result.” 1
