Les CSR days commencent par une journée de recherche intitulée « Thinking, Designing and Publishing your CSR research ». Des chercheurs, des doctorants et des professeurs de renommée internationale sont invités à échanger sur leurs projets de recherche respectifs. Le point commun entre les sujets discutés est la Responsabilité Sociétale de l’Entreprise (RSE). Celle-ci est envisagée sous différents angles disciplinaires (stratégie, ressources humaines, finance, gouvernance, droit, marketing, etc.).
Par ailleurs, un atelier concernant la publication d’articles liés à la RSE est organisé avec cinq chercheurs de renom dans le domaine : Dr. C.B. Bhattacharya (European School of Management and Technology), Dr. Guido Palazzo (HEC Lausanne), Dr. Adam Lindgreen (Hull University Business School), Dr. Mustafa Ozbilgin (Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia) et Dr. Jean-Pascal Gond (University of Nottingham).
