Application Process for the "IB program 2018-20"
- To be registered in the Annual Block 1 of a LSM Master 120 credits;
- To hold a Bachelor degree with minimum 180 ECTS credits;
- To submit a complete IB application;
- Successfully pass the IB application and the IB selection interview;
Note that the admission requirements valid for the academic exchange are also applicable for the IB program.
Step 1: Application Submission: Deadline on 8th of October, 2018

Step 2: Selection interview: October 2018
Based on your application file, LSM International Office will contact you for a comprehensive interview in English with Hays Response. Please note that only students who pass the first selection phase, based on the analysis of their application file, will be contacted for the second phase i.e. the interview.
Here are the criteria taken into account during the IB selection :
- International orientation including: English level, Cross-cultural awareness, international ambition/willingness.
- Intrapreneurial skills including: motivation for IB experience, initiatives, maturity and stress resistance.
- Individual skills including: representation, team spirit and interpersonal skills.
- A strong academic background will be an asset.
Step 3: Selection results: Beginning of November 2018
Based on the recommendations and ranking established by Hays Response, the LSM International Office will let you know if you are selected (or not) for the IB program 2018-2020.
Note: The program accepts 30-35 students maximum.
Step 4: Confirmation for IB program
Acquire min. 60 ECTS credits of LSM Master courses at the June exam session of your annual block 1.
Step 1 Compulsory online registration : 31st of October 2018
to manifest your wish to participate to IB/exchange
Step 2 Languages tests (free): Beginning of December 2018 (exact date TBC)
IF you wish to go on exchange where one of the following language is spoken Dutch, Spanish, German, Italian, French
Step 3: Application submission (incl. certificate of English): End of January 2019 (exact date TBC)
Note: Allocation of the exchange destination: February 2019
Step 4: Confirmation of departure : June 2019
