Takahito Mitsui and Michel Crucifix, from the Earth and Life Institute, contributed to an article recently published in the scientific journal « Nature », in which provide a set of rules that predict when, during the last 2.6 million years, Earth’s climate warmed out of ice ages. They showed that the sequence of interglacials that has occurred is one of a small set of possibilities. The article received important cover in the Belgian media.
